The Story Begins – Children’s Literature and Theatre Meet

The Story Theatre at Bókadeildin offers storytime for children in a completely new way. The Story Theatre combines drama and literature, turning storytelling into a magical experience. It is a fun, special, and simple way to share stories, engaging children in the spoken tale, supported by colourful picture cards and the beautiful theatre setting. The target audience is preschool-aged children.

Once every hour, actress Kristina Sørensen Ougaard will read a story at Bókaklubbin’s stand in Klingran. The programme includes both new picture books and well-known classics.
