VERA – Safe Space for Young LGBT+ people

What is VERA? Vera is a safe space by LGBT+ Faroe Islands! 😍 Vera is a hangout spot for young LGBT+ people between 15 and 21 years old. It is a safe place where young people can meet without fearing prejudice or not being accepted. Here you can be exactly who you are and meet other young LGBT+ people 🏳️‍🌈✨🏳️‍⚧️

How often is it? Vera is every other Wednesday (even weeks) from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. On these evenings, we will have many different fun things on the program. You can read on our Facebook and Instagram page what is on the schedule for each evening.

How is it organized? Vera is free, and you can come and go as you please – it is not necessary to be there the whole time if it doesn’t suit you, and there is no need to sign up beforehand. Volunteers at Vera are present to create a good setting for the evening. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch or buy something to eat nearby. We have a kettle and a microwave.
