‘World wide knit in public’-day

Do you like yarn and knitting or chroceting?

Let’s get together on the World wide knit in public day, Saturday 14th of June 2025!

The purpose of the event is to gather yarn/knitting/crocheting entusiasts. When people with similar interests gather the chances of earning new skills and establishing friendships increase greatly!

Our hope is to see both experienced and beginners and yarnlovers of all ages and from the entire country – even from abroad!

So grab your neddles or hooks and your yarnfriend and go to the stairs in Vágsborn, downtown Tórshavn, and have a good time with fellow yarnenthusiasts!

Share this event with your knitting friends and those who you would like to bring along.

The event is from kl.12-15 and I hope to see at least the same amount of entusiast as last years event – maybe even more.

Good to bring:
-Sitting pillow! The stairs are from stone and can get quite cold and hard to sit on – at least if you plan to stay as long as myself.
-Themomug! If you like coffee as much as I do, you can go this long without it – and of course we prefer it warm!
– Needles or hooks! Obviously – but just in case you forget it, you’re always welcome anyway.
