Ástaklokkan

Ástaklokkan is a small and cosy eatery in the old part of town.

Over the autumn, we are open every Friday and Saturday from 18:00. 

You can enjoy a local and seasonal dinner in our small restaurant or a glass and a quick bite by the fire in our backyard. We welcome table bookings (as we only have four tables), but we also gladly invite you to drop by—we might have a free table for you. 

The menu changes weekly, and you can find this week’s menu on our webpage. Expect whatever is in season—or just very cozy and autumnal. We will use meat cuts that are no longer so commonly used and very fresh local fish and vegetables. We also like to forage for herbs around our area. Wine is both a passion and an everyday adventure, so expect good wine as well.
