The first “Ebenezer Hall” – also known as “Sloan’s Hall” – was built in Tórshavn in 1879, and the first service was held on 17. July 1879 by the Scottish Christian Brethren missionary William Gibson Sloan.
As the number of congregants increased, a new and bigger “Ebenezer” was built in 1905. The current church building was erected in 1963. In 2006 they had a major refurbishment done on the inside of the building.
