Skógrøkt (Forestry service)

Skógrøkt manages woodlands and promotes plant growth that benefits the Faroese society. We gather knowledge and cultivate trees and shrubs that are suited to the climate and growing conditions in the Faroe Islands. Guidance for individuals, institutions, and companies is an important part of the work.

The Forestry service is located at the Nursery in Hoydalar.
