In 1965, KEMILUX began producing soap in a basement.
From the very beginning, the company has excelled in gaining expertise in meeting the needs of the fishing industry. KEMILUX has used this experience to expand into other industries as well.

Today, we produce soap and cleaning products for households, institutions, and businesses. We place great emphasis on being a Faroese soap manufacturer, with all recipes developed locally and production carried out in the Faroe Islands by Faroese workers. We are very proud of this, and after more than 50 years, we continue to produce for both the Faroese and international markets, reaching a total of 8 countries. The high quality of our soap formulations is of utmost importance to us and is the main reason we are able to compete both internationally and in the domestic market.

Although the heart of the company lies in soap production, we are also suppliers of cleaning equipment, safety gear, workwear, and packaging.
