The beach in Tórshavn

Sandágerð, the largest beach in Tórshavn, is a great place to visit with your kids. Bring a bucket and a shovel, and perhaps a packed lunch.

Let the children play on the beach, collecting shells and stones, while you enjoy the view over the fjord and the island of Nólsoy. You’ll also find geese, ducks, hens, and other birds here. Picnic tables, a changing room, and a toilet are available as well.
