Santas on bicycles

On the last Sunday before Christmas, Santa Clauses on bicycles will arrive in the heart of Tórshavn, bringing sweets and Christmas cheer with them.

In the days leading up to Christmas, the city center is alive with visits from Santa Clauses, accompanied by a delightful mix of brass music and singing. The city center is full of life, and you can already see crowds enjoying the festive streets, including expatriates who are home for the holidays.

People come to the city center to see, hear, and soak in the festive atmosphere, to meet Santa Clauses, and to catch up with friends and family they may not see as often as they would like. The charming lights set up by the City Council also add a special touch, giving Tórshavn a unique Christmas ambiance.
