Hotel Hafnia has function rooms of different sizes to suit all needs up to 100 pax, as well as audio-visual and IT equipment to match modern demand. Great versatility and agility on the part of the staff ensure a smoothly run conference and a successful meeting.

The hotel opened in 1951 and was named Hafnia, the latin word for “harbour”. All throughout the 50s, 60s and 70s, Hotel Hafnia expanded into its present position as one of the best hotels in The Faroe Islands.

The hotel restaurant is located on the first floor overlooking the main street. This restaurant is well known for its international cuisine, offering a variety of international courses as well as Faroese specialities, prepared and served by internationally trained chefs and restaurant staff.

Hotel Hafnia has single rooms, double rooms and 1 suite. It is also possible to get an extra bed in the room if needed. All in all 79 rooms and 3 cabins with a total bed capacity of 148.

All rooms are equipped with toilet/shower, satellite-TV, radio, hairdryer, minibar and telephone, and all guests are offered complimentary wireless internet.
