Description
A guided walk and hidden-folk tales in the dark
It is said that the huldre folk disappeared with the arrival of electricity, when streetlights lit up the roads — but where did they go, and might they still dwell in places untouched by light?
We invite you to join us on a journey through the woodland after dark, where you’ll hear stories of ancient mythical beings and traditional folktales. Along the way, we’ll also explore old customs connected to traditional Faroese folk belief.
As we move between the pitch-dark trees, petroleum lamps will light our path, setting the mood and bringing the stories vividly to life.
